Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Appologia (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Appologia is a Christian apologetics training platform. Core access is free. Optional paid subscriptions unlock additional categories and premium features.

2. Subscriptions & Billing

We currently offer three paid plans, all billed by Stripe:

• All Categories Unlock — $3.99 USD per month. Unlocks all 10 Opposing Theology categories.
• Premium Monthly — $5.99 USD per month. Everything in Categories Unlock, plus badge progression and personalized flashcards.
• Premium Yearly — $49.99 USD per year. Same as Premium Monthly, billed annually.

Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) at the then-current rate until you cancel. You will be charged using the payment method on file.

Cancellation: You can cancel anytime from your profile via the "Manage subscription" button, which opens the Stripe customer portal. After cancelling, you retain access until the end of the current billing period.

Refunds: All payments are final and non-refundable except where required by law. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

Price changes: We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice by email. Price changes take effect at your next renewal.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt to bypass paywalls, scrape content, or violate our Community Guidelines. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from your profile. Deletion removes your personal data; any active subscription should be cancelled separately via the Stripe customer portal.

5. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
